Advanced Education

 
  • At AR Gould Hospital, provider-to-provider Cerner mastery session were held through April and May led by Dr. Pelli. The next session is scheduled for August 14th.
  • At CA Dean Hospital, provider-to-provider Cerner mastery sessions were held multiple times throughout the month of May led by Dr. Douglas. The next session is scheduled for July 11th.
  • At Blue Hill Hospital, provider-to-provider Cerner mastery sessions were held weekly from May 1st through June 5th.  The sessions were led by Dr. Zelnick and were very well-received. 
  • At Inland Hospital, provider-to-provider Cerner mastery sessions were held on June 5th and June 6th led by Dr. Douglas.  The mastery sessions have been very well-received. 
  • At Sebasticook Valley Hospital, a provider-to-provider Cerner mastery session was held on June 4th led by Dr. Douglas.  The next session is scheduled for July 17th.


Focused Rounding/Support


To increase the adoption and understanding of the EHR, focused rounding and at-the-elbow support was provided to inpatient units and ambulatory practices throughout our system.  In June, we were able to:
  • Provide 64 hours of focused at-the-elbow support to ambulatory practice at AR Gould Hospital
  • Provide 24 hours of focused at-the-elbow support to ambulatory practices at Blue Hill Hospital
  • Provide 52 hours of focused at-the-elbow support to ambulatory practices at Inland Hospital
  • Provide 108 hours of focused at-the-elbow support to ambulatory practices at Mercy Hospital
  • Provide 78 hours of focused at-the-elbow support to ambulatory practices at Sebasticook Valley Hospital

At-the-elbow support was also provided to inpatient and ambulatory areas through normal rounding at Acadia Hospital, CA Dean Hospital, Eastern Maine Medical Center, and Maine Coast Hospital.
